U-M Health System clinicians, staff, and students primarily rely on the Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) group to meet their IT needs. HITS addresses computing needs, sometimes in conjunction with campus-wide IT partners like ITS, within the Michigan Medicine environment. HITS includes many specialist support groups which provide application development, account management, computing packages, back-up services, and database development within their support areas.
