The buck converter assembly Consists of a 4”-long 2-conductor cable connecting the Power Distribution Board’s 12 V and GND rails to the input terminal of a buck converter that steps down the voltage output to 9 V. A 28”-log wire then connects the buck converter’s output to the Motor Shield Assembly, supplying 9 V of power.
